The development of therapeutic guidelines and informed decision-making hinges on the availability of a larger, more detailed database of case reports, particularly from instances of greater severity. An unusual case of a 28-week premature infant, infected with SARS-CoV-2 during the perinatal period, exhibited a prolonged and severe respiratory impairment.
